Honorary Tribute to Late Brother Amr Gabale

In loving memory...

Amr Gabale
Rest In Peace | October 1994 - June 2014

Amr Gabale was a student at the Rutgers Business School pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Accounting. As a member of the Class of 2016, Amr proudly joined the Rho Tau Chapter of Delta Sigma Pi in his sophomore year and secured an internship at Horizon Blue Cross Blue Shield in Newark, NJ the following summer.

Although he had big career goals to become a CPA at a major accounting firm in his later life, Amr Gabale was somebody who truly understood the value of spending time with loved ones and enjoying life beyond academics. A die-hard NY Giants fan, Amr enjoyed watching football with family and friends and made it his personal mission to get autographs from various players--he once got Eli Manning to sign a jersey by running after his car post-practice! He also followed various other sports, including basketball, soccer, and ice hockey, and was known for giving full-hearted support to his favorite teams.

Amr's favorite sport to play, however, was pool, which he would regularly practice in hopes of improving his game each time. Amr was also extremely passionate about travel and astronomy. He often shared his knowledge about different stars and constellations to his fellow pledge brothers in the Zeta Class and was always excited to learn more about the mysteries of space. Unfailingly eager to grow and experience new things, Amr Gabale was someone who truly appreciated the things that life had to offer. Rho Tau Chapter is immeasurably grateful for having him in our brotherhood.
